Made shaky start to chasing career in January but lost out only by a nose when rallying second at Taunton (2m, soft) last month, where an awkward jump at the final fence almost certainly cost him the race; has to take a 4lb rise on the chin but can be dangerous again here if all goes to plan.
Kept on well for second behind next-time-out winner at Ludlow (2m, soft) in March but has very mixed record since winning British debut in early 2023 and was soundly beaten at Taunton last month; hard to predict.
Low-mileage 6yo who struck form with two front-running hurdle wins last month, the latter in first-time cheekpieces here (2m, good to soft); could still have more to offer and connections are evidently keen to switch him to fences.
Now 6lb lower than when ending 2022-23 season with narrow win at Sedgefield (2m5f, soft) but returned from a break with three disappointing efforts this year and needs to respond well to addition of blinkers today.
Dual chase winner on good ground in summer 2022; struggled to cope with heavy ground when returning from long absence over hurdles here in March but ought to be much more competitive now back on a less testing surface and with that outing behind him; swaps usual visor for refitted blinkers.
Generally disappointing since winning novice hurdle in early 2022 but, with cheekpieces added, made the frame in two chases towards end of last season (2m1f/2m); has a fighting chance if the headgear continues to aid.
Returned from long absence with emphatic win at Wincanton (1m7f, soft) in October and was second here (2m3f, soft) off mark 5lb higher than today's the following month; suffered dip in form during the winter but a couple of those defeats were on heavy ground, and he steadied the ship with a satisfactory hurdle run a fortnight ago; must be considered.
Well beaten when making chasing debut in this race a year ago and also looked out of form in two hurdle races in the autumn; returns from another break today; others have considerably less to prove.
0-11 under all codes but began chasing career with two decent efforts in headgear last month, more recently when third (no match for easy winner) in blinkers at Exeter (2m1f, good); 3lb lower here; enters calculations.
Returned from very long absence with fairly encouraging hurdle run in January; fell heavily on chasing debut in March and was just a respectable sixth at Exeter (2m1f, good) last month but has slipped to a tempting mark.
Regressive and inconsistent 10yo who has not won since 2020; ran game race when second of four at Bangor (2m1f, soft) in March but was not quite in same form last month and is 3lb wrong here.
